inspected with only a weeks notice. 3 of the 4 STGs were rebuilt in 2004. The plant is
in immaculate condition and was recently shutdown in March 07.

HISTORY OF THE PLANT:

This plant was built between 1963 to 68; The units  were commissioned in 1969.

This plant was shutdown in 1990-91.
THE PLANT WAS SHUT DOWN DUE TO DROUGHT CONDITION - NO
COOLING WATER FOR TWO YEARS, IT WAS MOTHBALLED IN 1990
FOR START-UP AGAIN IN 1996. THE UNITS HAVE
OPERATED AN AVERAGE OF 144000 HOURS EACH, HAVE BEEN VERY  WELL
MAINTAINED,  AND ARE STILL BEING KEPT IN A "MOTHBALLED"  CONDITION.
